C-NPR strongly believes that anyone interested in supporting
any non-profit ought to do their homework. One way to do that is to
make sure that the organization is a real non-profit - registered with
the IRS, filing properly, and with a valid federal ID number.

Under federal law, you have the right to request
an organization's federal ID number and a copy of their
most recent Form 990 as filed with the IRS.  We'd be glad
to provide you with copies of ours upon request.

We think checking is a great idea . . . and we've gone that
one (actually, two) better -
  • Direct, on-the-web Donations
  • And full On-line Financials
D onate On-line!
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization, C-NPR gratefully  accepts donations in support of our activities. All such donations generate a tax deduction on the donor's federal income tax return - a donation of $1,000 gives a donor a $1,000 federal deduction (worth up to $390, depending on the donor's tax bracket).

If you are interested in making a donation to C-NPR, you can contact us to discuss the matter - including the desirability of using appreciated assets to maximize the tax-savings for you.

You can also donate using your credit card right from your computer.  There is no risk and there is no charge.  All transactions go through the secure server at helping.org, a non-profit support organization organized by the AOL Foundation for just this purpose.
